Amphipolis and other Kinds of Magic

In the recent months the political turmoil in the country almost did not exist in the minds of people. Or in the few cases where it did, its importance was subsidiary to the importance of solving the mystery of who the true inhabitant of the Amphipolis tumb was. Speculations over speculations, arguments and counter-arguments back and forth held a whole nation under suspence and for a few days we all became experts on the subject, after having submitted ourselves to the various brain-washing versions by the archeological elite of this planet. And all of a sudden, we woke up one morning and no one really bothered anymore, as if we had surrendered all our cultural herittage to indifference. If you ask me, that is a very abnormal reaction, which is only indicating that the media have taken full control of our brains. It is with such a troublesome ease, that they manage to turn the pages of our minds at their discretion, directing our attention to whatever subject suits them. The Amphipolis issue faded out, the Romanos incident succeded. These days it is all about the Presidential elections and the catastrophe that may follow, if Parliament fails to collect the 180 necessary votes. The business of national pride, succeeded by the diluted notion of Constitutional rights and the one of terror seem to be extremely lucrative to some and in a very subtle way. It is no secret that diversion is still the most effective way to surrender Sovereignty without having your people notice it. Call me naive, if you dare...
