Silence is a form of communication. So is speaking, writing or even singing. But for those who know, silence is the strongest form of it all. But only to those initiated. Every one else thinks it is just a weakness. The inability of one to express himself and/or his views. People, make no mistake. Coming out of silence is by contrast an act of aggression. Occasionally more lethal than naked violence itself. With its destructive force being lasting. They say do not be afraid of barking dogs they never warn you about silent ones. And as we know all crimes happen in silence and in darkness. But this world today is in transition. Ideas, ideologies, beliefs, habits, values, traditions, customs are thrown into a blender with the expectation that the juice will be tasty. But it isn't. People may have been taken by surprise in many parts of this continent and as a result their reactions to changes have become numb, but they will surely recover from the shock sooner or later. A crusade in reverse has been going on all across Europe in the last five or so years, with Islam retaliating with an eight centuries delay. But with instincts and forms of violence frozen in time. We are reluctant to understand that we will have to go to war again, you know. No wait, we are at war. At war with our past, with our imposed future and with ourselves. Our inner conflicts which are being neutralised by this new notion of human solidarity, you know the one that requires you to erase your religious beliefs, your national symbols, your tradition and your customs in favour of not insulting your invader who, by the way, gives a shit about you. Excuse my French. Anyone against this invasion, is simply branded as a nationalist, a racist or just a phobic human being. All the while, our streets are crowded with our own kind, all homeless and exposed to current tides, while invaders are being sponsored and reimbursed for all alleged suffering in their own countries. Funny thing though is, that most of them aren't the suffering kind, on the contrary, they are the aggressive kind, the violent kind and the impertinent kind. With no sense of gratitude, with all good offered to them considered as an entitlement.
Meanwhile, my conspiratory sick mind cannot stop thinking about another version of this suffering. A more designed one. The one that again alleges that what is happening to Greece and Europe, as a whole, is part of larger plan to render this continent weak. Who would possibly benefit from that? Well, Turkey has rubbed NATO's shoulders the wrong way more than just one time, however, she seems to be not only getting away with it, but also being rewarded for it. NATO found it easy to look passed the S-400 purchase made by Turkey from Russia, Donald Trump found ways to put Turkey back into the F-35 program and all is nice and good. Erdogan, has been probably promised all natural resources that can be found in the sea-bed of the Mediterranean so long as he makes sure that the hordes of alleged refugees drown Greece and Europe. It is all being very conveniently manufactured at all levels, through Bilateral Agreements that have been entered into in complete disregard for international laws, the UN seems to be playing along ratifying illegal documents, converting them overnight into standing arrangements and this way, countries are being conveniently once more stripped of their sovereign rights. This would naturally call for war. And the smell of it is coming up. Ready or not. Abraham Lincoln once said that the "Tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots". But globalisation has conveniently again eliminated any notion of patriotism simply by levelling the term with the term nationalism. And God forbid, we are branded as nationalists. I was a child growing up with the steady belief that some day my country will call me to war. So I think, I was subconsciously always preparing for it. What I was not preparing for was the eradication of the notion of countries. Hence, without individual countries no reason for war, is there? With no reason for war it looks as if anything is doable. Are we there yet?
