This could be the expression of a policy that is contemplated altogether by the Eurozone countries to reprimand its non-obidient child by the name of Greece with a view to achieve peace of mind once and for all. It seems that the current political instability within the country, furher to yesterday's first-round failure in Parliament to elect the new President of the Greek Democracy, is triggering all kinds of doomsday scenaria that are likely to re-surface, with the predominant scenario being the one of a new Grexit, i.e. Greece's exiting of the Eurozone. And while voices have been occasionally raised in favour of such an option, the solution is hardly imaginable from a globalized angle of things. The chance of Greece avoiding a massive catastrophe seems slimmer and slimmer by every day that goes by, unless Parliament will act responsibly and will capitalize on the two remaining opportunities presented ahead to regain sanity and avoid a total "reset" of the country, by reaching consensus on the Presidentail vote in the forthcoming rounds. Interesting also to watch the agonizing stance of our friends like Jean-Claude Junker and Pierre Moscovici, who are assisting the creation of a terror environment at new portraying disaster images, which, -no matter how truthful- do constitute an unacceptable interferance into Greece's domestic affairs. But as I said, hold your breath...two more rounds to go and anything is still possible.
