Eccentric or Hideous?

I represent common sense, the average mind and the average taste in aesthetics. I am not among the 38% that voted for this government and I am definitely not a great fan of the individual. Think of me as of a mainstream citizen with average understanding of politics. Think of me as of a guy who needs to wear a tie to go to work and feels good about it and as a person that cannot afford dishonesty. Think of me as of someone who takes everything for real coin, think of me as the not so average European, who spends his evenings in front of a TV and listens to the news. Think of me as someone who barely knows where the borders of Armenia to Russia are, and as someone who does not know which countries border Yemen. Think of me as of someone who does not want to provoke anyone and as someone who wants peace and dignity in his life. Think of me as someone who feels good when he is able to maintain his pride, think of me as someone who hates owing to banks. Think of me as someone who still hopes that there is hope to create in this life. Think of me as someone who is educated. Think of me as someone who likes equilibrium in everything, think of me as someone who understands conversation. Think of me as someone who is middle-aged and who transformed from wild to balanced the "working" way. Think of me as someone who stayed away from the spot lights even when chased by them. Think of me as someone who would never compromise in order to obtain his 15' of fame and subsequent shame. In the last two weeks I keep asking myself the same question over and over again. Since I am all of the above, which represent the average, how in God's name was it possible for me to appoint someone like him to represent me before all international fora, him who stands for everything I despise, him who takes me back to my days of reckless behaviour, him who has made it his professional objective to destroy my future and mesmerise his colleagues. Him who preaches austerity from his swimming pool Vila, him who cancels all the authority vested into his professional capacity by tweeting about his expensive scarf. Him who is so narcissistically inclined that his very narcissism is neutralising any and all political reflexes which are so badly needed to complete his mission? Him who confuses auditoriums with congress halls, him who babbles his arguments to the press in the most annoying way, him who has become the global centre of attention and a symbol for all that he should not promote about him, him who speaks in the name of a whole nation only to expose it, him who attends technical meetings to philosophise, him who thinks that rebellion is all about rejecting dress-codes and imposing tastelessness, him, who if there is a God, then this God is not a friendly one and our fate is not a favourable one. What sacrifice must this nation still make to whatever Gods are left to cast away this disgrace?
